Diesel Mechanic
Automotive · Rankins Springs, Wagga Wagga & Riverina NSW, Australia · Full-Time · $80,000/yr
Harvest is on, a header stops in the paddock, and the farm needs it running again before the day is out. In Rankins Springs, in the Riverina region of New South Wales, a well-established farming business is hiring a skilled Diesel Mechanic to be that person.
You will be responsible for a big, modern fleet: tractors, harvesters, sprayers and trucks, plus advanced fleet systems and new farm technology. The owners want someone who takes charge of how the machines perform, not someone who just ticks off routine jobs.
Mechanics with proven qualifications, hands-on ability and industry experience can build a long-term career in Australia here. Sponsorship applicants need English language evidence and skills assessment documents, so sort out your English test and trade papers early.

- Inspect each machine's condition and advise on repairs, replacements or upgrades

- Back up machine operators with technical tips and hands-on help
