Friday trade, a function in the back room and a full dining floor: this Bathurst venue in the Central West of NSW needs people who stay sharp when it all happens at once. It is hiring Bar and Front of House Team Members.
The venue puts its customers first and values reliability, solid service skills and genuine industry experience. You should be confident with guests, work well in a team and hold the standard of service during peak periods.
Eligible candidates may be considered for sponsorship. A current RSA certificate is required, so if you do not hold one yet, plan for it before you apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and look after them professionally at the front of house, staying attentive from arrival to departure
- Take food and drink orders accurately and answer questions about the menu and service
- Make and serve drinks the way the venue requires
- Keep the service area clean, tidy and presentable
- Help service move quickly when the venue is busy, across the bar, dining room and function areas as needed
- Work with the kitchen, bar and front-of-house crews as one team
- Follow RSA rules, safety procedures and responsible service practice at all times
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated hospitality or front-of-house experience preferred
- Current RSA certificate
- Proven customer service and communication skills, with a confident, professional manner around guests
- Turns up reliably and works hard
- Copes well in a fast-paced setting
- Upbeat and keen to pull your weight in the team
- Available for evenings, weekends and peak trading times
- Able to show genuine hospitality skills and relevant experience; eligible candidates may be considered for sponsorship
