Account Manager/Recruiter

Part desk, part site visits, part problem-solving on the phone: this Account Manager / Recruiter job in Belmont, Perth sits inside a busy blue-collar recruitment business in Western Australia.

You will own client relationships, visit operational sites, work out workforce needs and look after workers from placement through their whole time on the job. Filling vacancies fast, keeping rosters right and sorting out workforce issues professionally will be your bread and butter.

The position is permanent and full-time, and it is a strong base for growing your recruitment, account management and operational leadership skills. Have your references from previous recruitment or labour hire roles ready, with contact details that can be checked.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own your client accounts, visiting their sites often to understand staffing needs and priorities and keep relationships strong
  • Take in high-volume workforce orders, find suitable workers and fill them
  • Build and update rosters to match what each client needs
  • Run recruitment and onboarding from first placement until the worker starts
  • Stay in touch with workers, answering payroll, workplace and general employment questions quickly
  • Help with performance management, disciplinary matters and exits when needed
  • Track attendance, staffing needs and operational changes, and come up with practical fixes for clients and workers
  • Keep records accurate and complete recruitment and admin paperwork
  • Hold client service standards steady and work with colleagues to hit recruitment and workforce targets in a positive, results-driven culture

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Experience in recruitment, labour hire, account management, workforce coordination or a comparable environment is highly desirable
  • Strong skills in managing clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, including confident, professional phone manner
  • Well organised and good with time, with a sharp eye for detail
  • Able to work on your own and as part of a small team, taking a proactive, solutions-first approach to problems
  • Able to juggle several vacancies, workers and client needs at once
  • Good computer skills and comfortable with recruitment or workforce management software
  • Professional presentation and a positive attitude
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
  • Able to work both in the office and at client sites
