Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems on remote construction projects, including HV and LV cabling
- Terminate switchboards and MCC panels
- Fit motors, lighting and power systems, plus steel conduit and earthing
- Find and fix electrical faults
- Support electrical works in mining, civil and heavy industry settings
- Coordinate shared project work with fitters, plumbers and civil crews
- Adapt to shifting priorities and remote site conditions
- Keep work safe and quality high
- Help hit project deadlines through dependable teamwork and clear communication
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised Electrical Trade Qualification, plus a current electrical licence appropriate to the role
- Relevant verified experience in construction, mining, civil or heavy industry
- Current First Aid and CPR
- UETDRRF004 – Perform rescue from a live LV panel
- Nationally Recognised Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Able to commit to a 2:1 FIFO roster
- Has worked safely in remote or project-based settings across a range of electrical tasks
- Communicates well and works as part of a team, with a dependable and adaptable approach to site work
- Refrigeration tickets highly desirable
- Certificate IV in Instrumentation advantageous
- Fibre endorsements advantageous; ACMA accreditation advantageous
- Certificate II in Split Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Systems advantageous
- Willing to complete required pre-employment checks
- Sponsorship available for suitable eligible candidates
