Key Responsibilities
- Talk each client through a consultation, then suggest styles and treatments that suit them
- Cut, style, colour and carry out other relevant services with consistent, high-quality finishes backed by strong technical knowledge
- Tailor every hairdressing and styling service to the person in the chair, keeping each appointment professional from start to finish
- Win repeat visits through dependable, personal service and grow a client following of your own
- Chase salon targets without letting service quality slip
- Keep up with current techniques, products and trends, and suggest professional haircare products when it makes sense
- Keep the salon space clean, tidy and inviting
- Manage your own book while pulling your weight in the salon team
- Join training and keep developing professionally
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience working as a Hairdresser or Stylist
- Strong hands-on knowledge of modern hairdressing techniques
- Industry experience that is genuine and can be verified, with evidence to back up your previous professional experience
- Confident when consulting clients and styling
- Strong communication and people skills
- A demonstrated commitment to quality work and happy clients
- Works well alone and within a team
- Dependable, well organised and professionally presented, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Keen to learn and to adapt as industry trends change
- A relevant hairdressing qualification and/or substantial professional experience
- Employer sponsorship may be considered for eligible candidates
