Maintenance Fitter
Trade · Perth WA, Australia · Full-Time · $80,000/yr
High-speed thermoforming and packaging lines in a Western Australian food manufacturing plant need a Maintenance Fitter who knows this equipment inside out. Reliability, precision and fast fault diagnosis are what the job runs on.
General maintenance experience alone will not get you there. The client wants verified technical skill and real thermoforming knowledge: someone who can maintain, troubleshoot and fine-tune complex machinery with their own hands. Time on MULTIVAC thermoforming equipment, especially R-Series machines, will be highly regarded.
Fitters trained in South Africa should have their trade certificate ready, as trades are usually assessed again abroad.

- Spot ways to make machines more reliable and cut downtime
- Work closely with production and engineering to keep output steady
- Help install and commission machinery
