Key Responsibilities
- Plan lessons and prepare teaching materials and classroom resources
- Teach engaging lessons centred on students and matched to curriculum standards
- Build a classroom that feels safe, positive and inclusive, and support each student's academic, social and emotional growth
- Assess how students are doing, give useful feedback and keep student records and assessment paperwork accurate
- Work alongside colleagues and school leaders, and keep parents and caregivers informed
- Take part in professional learning and school initiatives and add to the wider school community
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised Bachelor of Education or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Eligible for teacher registration in the relevant Australian state
- Teaching experience in Primary or Secondary education
- Good classroom management and communication skills, plus a commitment to high-quality education
- Able to work in a collaborative school setting
- Eligible for Australian work rights or visa sponsorship, and willing to relocate to Queensland, Australia if required
