Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Officer duties: bookkeeping and accurate financial records; raising and processing invoices and payments; running accounts payable and receivable; bank and transaction reconciliations; tracking spending and petty cash; refunds and staff expense claims; chasing overdue accounts; fielding money queries from clients, suppliers and staff; and backing up the finance manager and outside accountants
• Finance / Office Manager duties: in charge of finance and office administration, producing reports, budgets and forecasts, analysing performance and business trends, tracking the organisation's financial position and overseeing reconciliations and reporting
• Also for the Finance / Office Manager: keeping financial policies and procedures current, watching tax and reporting compliance, helping with cash-flow forecasts, supplying management with financial information, building strategy from the analysis, and supporting office operations, recruitment and staff development
• Truck Driver / Multi-Skilled Technician duties: driving waste collection vehicles on rubbish and sani-bin runs, routine vehicle checks with fault reporting, collecting and delivering freight and waste bins, and yard cleaning and upkeep
• The same driver role also covers night fogging, lawn mowing, tree trimming, digging, labouring and general operational tasks, and dealing with customers professionally
• Contracts Administrator duties: keeping contract and project documentation in order, processing the related paperwork, monitoring contractor activity and variations, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and trades, tracking schedules and contract terms, answering contract enquiries and helping see contracted work through
• Welder duties: interpreting technical drawings and plans; MIG, TIG and other welding, including field welding and installation; welding ductwork, metal sheeting, fixtures, vents and similar parts; choosing materials and fillers; working with field and installation teams; grinding and deburring welds; meeting quality and safety standards while cutting waste
• Senior Pest Control Technician duties: inspecting properties for pest activity and entry points, identifying and assessing infestations, recommending treatment and prevention, advising customers professionally and suggesting ongoing pest management
• Hands-on pest work for the senior technician: treating termites, ants and other insects, setting rodent traps and bait systems, safely removing wasp, hornet and bee nests, sealing entry gaps and handling chemicals and equipment safely
• Truck Mechanic duties: servicing and preventative maintenance; checking brakes, steering, wheel bearings and related systems; diagnosing faults with computerised diagnostic equipment; repairing or replacing bearings, gears, valves and other parts; servicing cooling and heating; road testing after repairs; checking emissions and performance; verifying measurements and clearances; and safe, accurate workshop practice

Requirements & Eligibility

• Finance / Office Positions need relevant accounting, finance, business or administration qualifications, a background in bookkeeping, financial administration or management, strong numerical and analytical skills, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• The Truck Driver / Multi-Skilled Technician must hold a Current Manual Driver Licence and a Current HR vehicle licence, with a clean driving record, and be able to perform varied operational duties
• Waste truck experience is advantageous for the driver role
• Experience with rear-loader, hook-lift, front-lift or side-arm vehicles is also advantageous for that role
• The Contracts Administrator needs relevant contracts, project or administration experience, strong document control and organisation, and the ability to coordinate contractors, suppliers and trades and manage deadlines and multiple priorities
• The Welder needs a relevant welding qualification or equivalent practical experience, demonstrated MIG, TIG or other welding experience, the ability to interpret plans and technical drawings, and knowledge of welding safety and quality standards
• The Senior Pest Control Technician needs a relevant pest control qualification, certification or licence, professional pest control experience, knowledge of pest identification, treatment and prevention, safe handling of chemicals and equipment, and strong customer service skills
• The Truck Mechanic needs a relevant diesel, heavy vehicle or mechanical qualification, previous truck or heavy vehicle mechanic experience, experience with computerised diagnostic systems, strong fault-finding and repair skills, and commitment to safe, quality workmanship
